Thank you for giving Kids Korner LLC the opportunity to meet with you regarding the care for you child. The philosophy of Kids Korner LLC is to insure your child a safe, loving, comfortable, educational, enriching environment in a home atmosphere. Our goal at Kids Korner LLC is to maintain a consistence, friendly, loving environment as well as prepare your child for the next step in their early education.

I am a mother of two now adult kids:). Prior to daycare I had worked in the dental field as a dental assistant. I have been providing child care in my home now since July of 2003. I love it and hope to work with you in the near future.

I am a licensed daycare provider, I have a full time assistants, and we are all CPR and first aid certified. Kids Korner is a  former member of the Path to Quality Program and also National accredited. I also have have my CDA (child development associate certification) which will help ensure the best quality care for your child!

I am looking forward to caring for your child and working with you. Communication is the best way to understand each child’s needs and wants. I encourage you to give me as much information about your child as possible. My home will be a fun and safe place that your child will enjoy. Daycare will be provided from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday excluding Holidays. If the child is not picked up by 5:40 p.m. there will be additional charge of $5.00 every 1 minute after. The late fee is due when the child is picked up.

KIDS KORNER CLOSES AT 5:30 NOT 5:40 ALL KIDS NEED TO BE PICKED UP ON TIME!!! PLEASE NOTE: My family time is as important as the time you have with your child. I understand at times there are things out of your control, but PLEASE make every effort to pick up your child ON TIME!!

Tuition is due the Thursday before the week of care is given. All tuition will be deposited on Friday at 6 p.m. If tuition is not paid, a $40.00 fee each day will be added until tuition received. Care will not be provided the following work day until full payment is made.( This also applies for late fees, if you pick up your child after 5:40 please make sure you have you late fee money with you when you pick up you child. Your child will not be able to come to daycare until all late fees are paid and current.

At anytime please feel free to stop by and see your child on lunch hour etc. You are always welcome to stop by anytime your child is at the daycare. We ask that you limit coming between 9-10:30 (Preschool Time) 1 - 3 p.m. since this is nap time and it will disrupt the children sleeping.

The daycare will be closed on all major holidays and on the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas; tuition is not reduced on these days. You will be given a vacation schedule to tell you any additional days that the daycare will be closed. It’s your responsibility to find other care for the week daycare is closed.

If daycare is open tuition is due. I will take 3-4 weeks of vacation a year and daycare will remain open. There are two weeks a year that Kids Korner will close, the week of Thanksgiving and the week of Christmas. Tuition will be prorated based on the paid holidays for those two weeks. If any holiday falls on a weekend the following weekday will be taken as the paid holiday. If a provider is sick or on leave another assistant will cover in this event.

I will take the following holidays every year:

• New Years Eve and New Year’s Day
• Memorial Day
• Fourth of July
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving and the Day After
• Christmas Eve
• Christmas Day
• Week of Christmas and week of Thanksgiving

If your child shows any symptoms of illness I may opt not to care for your child that day. This will help keep viruses and other infection from festering in the daycare. Should your child show any of these signs please keep your child home?

1. Running a fever of 100 degrees or higher
2. Vomiting
3. Bacterial infection or signs of a viral infection
4. Diarrhea for more then 24 hours
5. Serious infectious diseases
6. Coughing or runny nose exceeding 2-3 days,doctors note required to return to daycare

If your child develops any of these symptoms/illnesses you will be informed ASAP and are required to pick your child up immediately.

If your child is ill and unable to attend daycare tuition is not reduce.

If your child has a siblings that is ill if at all possible please keep them home as well to prevent exposing/caring the virus to the other children.

Please inform me ASAP if your child will not be attending daycare.

Any medication given to your child must be in its original container with the child’s name present, a note stating the dosage amount and the time the medication is to be given. If a child is taking any medication.  I can not give the child the first dose. The child must have had the medication for 24 hours at home prior before reporting to daycare. PLEASE NOTE medication will not be given to control or contain fevers. Example your child has a fever, Tylenol breaks the fever and the fever returns. Should your child have cold symptoms exceeding 3-4 days a doctor’s note is required that the child just has a common cold.

A pre planned preschool program will be part of your child’s daily routine provided by Mother Goose Time in efforts to prepare your child for early education. Arts and crafts will be offered as well as other enriching programs will be offered throughout the day.
